Job Summary:
The Naval Shipboard Portfolio has an immediate opening to serve as a Finance Lead within the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) Development directorate. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional support. In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of the finance organization and Raytheon’s strategic endeavors.
NSMS Development programs generates approximately $300M in revenue per year. As a Finance Lead, you will have a key role in the pursuit, setup and execution of contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance. In this role you will interact with a variety of different internal and external customers and will have substantial interface with key personnel within the organization to enable strategic decision making as well as achieve financial results.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. The preferred candidate will be able to work onsite in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

The individual chose for this role will have broad responsibility for development cost-plus contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) program controls

Lead, coordinate, and mentor peers on the development and analysis of all program financial data, including contractual EVM requirements, development and presentation of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), and support of financial forecasting for the program.

Serve as a critical business partner to internal and external stakeholders by providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to decision making

Support development and integration of financial planning aspects (LRP, AOP, working capital, monthly financial performance reporting)

Provide financial analysis for growth opportunities as well as be a key contributor for the proposal / Gate 4 process
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field

Typically requires 8 years finance/accounting experience; OR an Advance degree with 5 years finance/accounting experience

Experience working in a matrixed, cross functional environment

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), Estimates at Complete (EACs) & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Experience with APEX, BW, Rplan, PMX or similar financial system

Experienced in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, management and peers

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Excellent communication and professional skills when interfacing with all levels

Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level

Experience with financial forecasting, AOP, LRP, and R&O management

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and numerous stakeholders

Experience managing multiple DoD contracts

Active Secret DoD clearance
