Job Summary:
The AIM-9X Sidewinder finance group, in the Naval Power Mission Area has an immediate opening for an early in career Analyst, Program Cost Controls, supporting the program’s sustainment contracts. AIM 9X has combined Sales of approximately $500M per year with a secure and stable long term business forecast. You must be able to communicate effectively with Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, program and finance leadership and the government customer. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills.
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the Business. Onsite work may be expected up to 2 times per month in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is being offered.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities
-
Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.

CDRL preparation
-
Monitoring the funding, invoicing, and cash collection for the contract.

Contract modification processing and maintenance of modification log
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic, Business Administration or a related field

Typically requires 2 years of prior relevant experience
-
Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module & Business Warehouse or similar system
-
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced with desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of the MS Office suite

Sound analytical skills

Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements

CORE Certification

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification

Understanding of AOP, program forecasting and financial metrics

Self-starter highly motivated individual with a positive "can do" attitude

Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills required

Ability to multitask and manage workload required

Ability to work well with team members at all levels of management
