Raytheon Intelligence and Space, Electronic warfare Systems is looking for a Finance Manager in our Emerging programs area. The successful candidate will manage all Finance related activities, allowing an opportunity to work in a dynamic business area with the potential to drive successful set up and execution of programs from proposal development to contract execution. Responsibilities will include providing financial leadership and partnering with Finance Director and the leadership team to ensure sound business decisions are made in all program execution, new business and strategy, and to ensure growth and financial goals and commitments are met.
The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of programs. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management. .
Responsibilities include the following:
•Effectively manage ALL financials for a complex Mission Area
•Responsible for driving business financials while maintaining accountability across the programs on both short and long-term initiatives including closely monitoring & measuring performance
•Work very closely with the SCM, PM and Finance leadership team, and functions
•Provide financial briefings and communications to customers, Finance Leadership Team, SCM, Ops, Engineering, as well as PMO Director
•Provide analyses to build sound and executable program and financial
•Help lead financial cost strategy effort for proposals for competitive procurements
•Manage several direct reports and be responsible direct reports’ performance and provide guidance regarding career development plan
•Provide leadership to ensure strong business management function across program by focusing on increasing actionable information provided to the Program Directors, promoting knowledge sharing, and improving processes with focus on automation & simplification
•Manage business processes, including EAC, Customer Reporting, Earned Value, Baseline Change implementation, Financial Forecasting, AOP, 5 Year Plan
•Manage Finance team. Provide strong leadership, performance expectations and reward/recognition for the team.
Required Skills:
•Typically, 10+ years of Related Experience
•Prior Finance leadership experience, proven experience effectively leading/managing/developing teams
•Working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processes
•Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize data into actionable information to assist in prudent business decision making
•Strong communicator up and down the organization, credible and confident, effective in resolving conflict.
•Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering)
•Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
•Experience with Aerospace or DoD programs
•Proven ability to influence, lead, and work cross-functionally to achieve results
•Proactive, creative, problem solving and decision making skills
•Experience working proposals
•Customer Proposal negations
•Active Secret Clearance
•SAP, Excel, Word and Power Point skills
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
