Raytheon Technologies is seeking an experienced field network engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot data networks. Tasks include configuring and installing routers, switches, ASAs, cabling, and other network devices at CONUS and OCONUS locations. The engineer will collaborate with team members to develop and deploy distributed network architectures, create network diagrams and rack elevations, recommend hardware and software solutions, and implement network monitoring. The engineer will assist the design and deployment of new distributed networks and modernization of existing networks. The engineer will be expected to work alone or with small teams, interacting directly with installers and end users in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Flexibility is essential and the engineer must be willing to work on a wide variety of IT tasks, either leveraging experience or learning new technologies quickly. The engineer will develop and occasionally present well-written reports.
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with POLY
Required Skills:
Overall 8 years of experience
Experience in configuring and deploying Cisco networking equipment
Experience configuring and installing routers, switches, ASAs, cabling, and other network devices
Experience deploying distributed network architectures, create network diagrams and rack elevations, recommend hardware and software solutions, and implement network monitoring
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Experience with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field of study
Required Education and Experience:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
