Raytheon is searching for a Facility Manager to support operations of a new remote facility in the Dayton, Ohio area. Facility will include a small staff of Raytheon and subcontractor personnel. The Facility Manager is a critical and demanding role responsible for ensuring the day-to-day running of the facility, and ensuring successful execution of programs in the facility. The successful applicant will carry out their duties in a responsive, efficient, and proactive manner with a key focus on customer service. The Facility Manager works with a diverse range of stakeholders and plans and executes a number of aspects of facility, information technology, security and EH&S requirements to ensure that compliance is maintained in all areas of governance. The Facility Manager will provide day-to-day support to on-site clients, coordinate with facility ownership, and coordinate directly with the Site Lead Raytheon Program Management Organization to ensure successful execution of all onsite activities. The Facility Manager will plan and execute logistics functions, facility preventative maintenance activities, EH&S inspections, and support security audits and assessments.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with POLY

Key Responsibilities 

Co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the site ensuring all employees and visitors to the facility can carry out their duties in a safe and effective manner.

Respond to a broad range of enquiries for infrastructure assistance requests, to include IT equipment installation and configuration as well as copper and fiber optic infrastructure installation and provisioning.

Coordinate and oversee contractors to ensure the facility is operating efficiently and effectively.

Liaise with all stakeholders and provide project coordination support for all building fit-out changes/upgrades and plant & equipment modifications.

Execute on-site security tasks in coordination with Program Security and onsite physical security contractor.

Execute on-site EH&S tasks in coordination with Program EH&S lead, and lead the prompt resolution of any onsite EH&S issues.

Serve as backup to Facility Operations Manager.

Oversight and planning of the facility’s operational budget.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience Knowledge of, and proven ability to apply facilities management principles and skills.

A high level of computer literacy including the use of document/records management and the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization. A motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.

Ability to review and provide recommendations for new and existing procedures.

Demonstrated experience in a results driven, technology-oriented environment.

Current Drivers License.

Requires broad hands-on experience working in dynamic environments.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
