Job Summary:
Pratt & Whitney Military Engines is looking for an Analytics Engineer to advance the F135 Program’s digital and data capability. You will be working on exciting new technologies like cloud and open-source tools among others, and be responsible for cleaning, standardizing, transforming, and configuring data visualizations for data products within the Military Engines business. As a self-directed individual, you will be partnering with business stakeholders and Digital Technology (DT) teams to build an ecosystem of data products in our emerging data mesh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with SMEs to understand complex datasets for next generation data products and data visualizations
- Develop scalable and sustainable data product transformations that curate, clean and store data efficiently
- Keep up to date with technologies and use advanced cloud data warehouse and data transformation techniques to build innovative solutions
- Ensure high performance and reliability of data transformation processes and pipelines
- Partner with other DT and business teams to gather requirements and convert them to data transformation specifications in the context of data products
- Perform bug fixes, apply enhancements to the models as when the need arises
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology field required
- A minimum of5 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data engineer
- At least 2 years of demonstrated proficiency in the use of SQL and/or Python to wrangle, clean, and integrate data from a variety of sources
- At least 2 years of demonstrated understanding of modern data warehouse design principles and data engineering best practices
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with creating data visualizations with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Superset; Experience in with transformation tools such as DBT
- Demonstrated experience with Git/GitHub
- Experience working in cloud data warehouses like Synapse and Databricks
- Comfortable working on an Agile Scrum team
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
- Business experience with Aerospace or other heavy manufacturing industry.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $161,000; However, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and key skills.
