Job Summary:

F117 HMC Operations is looking for a self-motivated, detailed oriented individual to join their Production team as a field service professional.  The position is responsible for Customer Workscope implementation into respective HMC Shop floor Process Plans (work orders) for Overhaul of the engine, modules and/or parts.  The candidate will also Work with record managers and customer to ensure correct level of maintenance, modifications, and configuration control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for Customer Workscope implementation into respective HMC Shop floor Process Plans (work orders) for Overhaul of the engine, modules and/or parts.
  • Be responsible for loading Customer Engine data into SAP.
  • Develop proficiency in Utilizing Technical data systems such as SAP, Customer Engine Management Program (CEMP) and Configurator.
  • Work with engine managers and customer to ensure correct level of maintenance, modifications and configuration control.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement system. (Including implementation of TPM, QCPC, MFA, standard work, process certification, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree is required with 2+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree; or an Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience and/or training will also be considered.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with jet engine construction and hardware.
  • Knowledge of the function of engine sections and parts, with an understanding of their relationship to other engine sections and parts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX Corporate will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Jet Engine hardware and/or assembly/disassembly experience is a plus.
  • Experience using SAP, Configurator, CEMP and/ or other similar Technical Engine data base systems, is a significant plus.
  • Experience using Solumina, Master Process Plans or Other “CAPP” software tools for creation and modification of Process Plans experience, for an MRO (engine facility) is a significant plus.
  • Operational experience in MRO engine facility is a significant plus.
  • Medium degree of confidence with variety of Microsoft Office tools required.

Successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and International Trade & Compliance (ITC) programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training and supporting all EH&S & ITC committee activities.

Travel and over time may be required
