Position Overview:

The US Air Force (USAF) F100 Materials Analyst is responsible for the management of proposals, orders, and multiple customer agreements supporting F100 USAF / Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customers. You will coordinate with the Material Analysts supporting other managed plants as well as transactional programs to support aftermarket spare part sales through various SAP transactions and data reporting. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

The key function in this role is to support the USAF spare part sales through various contracts, material management, SAP, forecasting and reporting activities, and wide area workflow flowback verification.  Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and the ability to work independently and/ or in a team environment under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for, successful material alignment, material sourcing, material expedite, and compliant DPAS rated shipments.
  • High level understanding of USAF / DLA customers’ critical pacing material, Pratt & Whitney supplier capacity constraints.
  • Communication and monitoring of material to Pratt & Whitney Supply Chain.
  • Track and manage critical parts and their allocation sequence that supports maintenance turn-time requirements, while minimizing inventory and meeting USAF / DLA requirements.
  • Continuous schedule alignment of supply and demand.
  • Optimize processes by tracking issues and identifying areas for improvement.  Drive continuous improvement utilizing the CORE tools.
  • Document standard work and work step instructions (WSI) detailing F100 materials processes to avoid turn backs and promote learning across the organization.
  • This position requires strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain are preferred with 2+ years’ relevant business and/or supply Chain experience, or, advanced degree may be considered with business and supply chain experience.
  • Candidate with 6+ years of business and supply chain experience may be considered in lieu of 4 year degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                                                   

  • Previous SAP and customer service experience desired.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word) skills required; Access skills and familiarity with ODM are desirable.
