Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Export Control Compliance Manager China (F/M) to join our Export Control department based in Toulouse, France.

The Export Control Team is responsible for ensuring that programs and specific export projects are designed and operated in a legally compliant and efficient manner. The aim is to protect Airbus and its subsidiaries from violations and to participate in the establishment of a robust export compliance program.
Your contribution will be on on-going and future projects with China: from your up-to-date knowledge of the US, UK and Chinese export control regulations, you will make a risk assessment on our vulnerability and propose a way to secure our deliveries.
You will instruct and support the departments in the implementation of national foreign trade laws and specific Airbus guidelines. You will accompany projects in all life cycles, from product development through production to customer service.

Your challenges:

Achievement of strategic objectives in the area of responsibility, identification and implementation of improvement opportunities and change requirements in consultation with the supervisor.

Leading projects and work packages for development, harmonization, and implementation of consistent end-to-end process processes, methods and tools for robust export control including the corresponding change management and implementation of training measures.

Helping the definition and implementation of the internal compliance program.

Monitoring and advising on export projects for programs involved in trade with China to protect the company and its managers against violations of relevant regulations.

Timely application for and management of export licenses, cooperation with the respective authorities, approval of export projects including all associated requirements and activities, review of transactions with regard to embargo and sanction regulations and restrictions with regard to end use.

Risk management in the area of responsibility, auditing of the departments and subsidiaries with respect to the appropriate implementation of export control regulations, support for external audits, investigation of export control violations, monitoring of remedial measures.
Your boarding pass:

Minimum of 5 years experience in Export Control area,

5 years experience minimum in Supply Chain or Production,

Proven abilities in project management,

Good communication skills: active listening, vulgarization, synthesis,

Ability to deliver under pressure,

Language skills : English at negotiation level, Chinese would be a plus.
Salary range:
Salary range based on the required profile: 50 to 60 K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
