We are seeking a candidate with a passion for aerospace to join our team within Compression Systems Engineering Module Center, Product Definition discipline. We are located in East Hartford Connecticut and have an opening for Engineering II, Drafting/Product Definition (Design Technician) person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and release Detail models, Drawings, Model Based Definition (MBD) and graphically driven engine level assemblies using Siemens NX and Teamcenter software.
- Create and release Table of Limits to document special assembly instructions containing, fits and clearances, torques, and hardware life limits.
- Manage the release of drawings and related documents using Product Lifecycle Management tools.
- Support technical meetings and assist subject matter experts to create and maintain part family definition and related product data.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 2+ years of prior relevant Product Definition/ drafting experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance .
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- High proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong Siemens NX modeling skills
- Model Based Definition
- Strong Communication Skills
- ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T.
