Seeking a Project Engineer II with a strong background in supply chain management, and extensive experience in JD Edwards (JDE) or SAP systems to support our Advanced Technology Group. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and executing supply chain requisitions and projects that are critical to the development and deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute supply chain requisitions for the Advanced Technology group, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-tech components and materials.
- Apply JDE / SAP expertise to streamline supply chain processes specifically tailored for advanced technology projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and product management teams to understand technical requirements and align supply chain strategies.
- Lead supply chain project initiatives, focusing on the challenges associated with advanced technology components and systems procurement.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of supply chain workflows within the Advanced Technology group to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization.
- Serve as the primary contact for JDE / SAP supply chain system issues, enhancements, and upgrades related to advanced technology requisitions.
- Ensure the supply chain is resilient and agile to support the rapid development cycles typical of advanced technology projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation for supply chain procedures, including requisition and procurement processes for specialized technology components.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to report on project status, risks, and opportunities within the Advanced Technology supply chain.
- Provide expert-level training and support for JDE / SAP systems, focusing on features and modules relevant to the Advanced Technology group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain roles with strong project management skills, preferably within a technology or advanced engineering environment.
- Expertise in JD Edwards or SAP systems, with a focus on supply chain and procurement modules.
- Familiarity with the unique demands of supplying advanced technology projects, including managing sensitive and proprietary technology components.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and complex technical requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external suppliers.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
