Mission and main objectives:

Development and validation of the Engine Calibration for Gasoline applications in global projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Development of the Engine Calibration for Nissan’s engines focused on the emission’s area:

    • Creation and submission of the dataset in accordance with the milestones and internal quality standards.

    • Control and guarantee of the dataset quality in accordance with Nissan’s methodologies and requirements.

  • Creation and monitoring of the test plan relevant to the calibration development

  • Control of the resources associated with the calibration development

  • Compliance with the requirements set by the applicable legislation for each market in the relevant tuning areas (especially emissions)

  • Communication with the different relevant stakeholders for the calibration development

  • Development and improvement of the processes related to calibration development and testing.

  • Inform about the calibration status and development in each of the project milestones.

  • Knowledge about the powertrain system

  • Knowledge about the testing methods and measurement in engine test bed, chassis dyno and PEMS

Background and experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree

  • Desirable: Master of Engineering degree

  • Previous experience in the development of engine calibration

  • English high level. Desirable: Spanish high level

  • Deep knowledge of Windows office environment and calibration tools (Inca, Concerto, MDA, DDT2000)

  • Inter-cultural and inter-functional communication. Problem-solving capacities

  • Team-work capacities

  • Availability to travel
