Job Summary: 

The Emerging Systems Organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager who interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion. The Electro-Optical / Infra-Red (EOIR) Systems SSBU will lead multiple EOIR sensor development, production, and sustainment programs. This ONSITE role is tailored for a highly motivated, well-organized Program Manager professional who embraces, thrives, and enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities to anticipate:

  • The PM is responsible for leading all aspects of program execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction) through the applicable program phases (bid & proposal, development, production, and lifecycle support).  

  • The PM must have the ability to establish and sustain effective business relationships, respond to customer needs in a timely manner, address complex technical requirements, and lead a large and diverse team to achieve business objectives.

  • The PM will lead a multi-disciplined team, functional organizations, and suppliers to meet program objectives. The PM serves as the primary customer interface to ensure program execution is aligned with customer expectations.

This position is an ONSITE role, and will be in McKinney, Texas.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Math, Business, or related discipline

  • 10+ years of professional work experience in Program Management experience or other relevant experience

  • Awareness of program management best practices, program lifecycle phases, and associated gates

  • Strong working knowledge of business and project management tools such as IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP (MS Project), Risk Management tracking tools

  • Knowledge and experience managing a Performance Measurement Baseline through Earned Value management, schedule management, and risk management processes and procedures

  • Knowledge and experience with financial forecasting and Estimate at Complete (EAC) preparation and presentation

  • Experience leading in a rapid development or agile environment

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading multi-disciplined, cross-functional, matrixed teams including members from Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Mission Assurance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to customers and senior leadership

  • Effective communication/presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Leadership skills to effectively work across cross-functional teams to meet program goals

  • Ability to achieve Raytheon Level 4 PM Certification

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance on day 1

  • Demonstrated experience leading development programs including spiral upgrades to existing system hardware and software

  • Experience with current hardware production/manufacturing systems and processes

  • Experience in Competitive Captures and New Business Development

  • Top Secret / SCI Clearance strongly desired
