Job Summary:

Raytheon’s Advanced Products & Services Department is looking for a talented, Electro-Optical Test Engineer to support our production of Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) cameras and Research & Development (R&D) group. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers working together to develop and produce state-of-the-art, next generation military and industrial vision systems.  Thinking outside the box, generating new ideas, and being an effective team player is essential for success in this role.

This role will be 100% on-site and based in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Perform engineering analysis.

  • Design and maintenance of complex test systems.

  • Document engineering concepts.

  • Solve production problems.

  • Ownership of assigned projects, multitasking & meeting deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior work experience.

  • Experience with electro-optical test development, automation, and/or troubleshooting.

  • LabVIEW experience.

  • Hardware and software debugging experience.

  • Experience using product data management tools such as Windchill PDMLink, Teamcenter, Enovia, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Optical or Electrical Engineering highly preferred.

  • Experience with wafer probing (e.g., automated wafer probers).

  • Data analysis experience using programming tools such as SQL, Excel, Matlab, etc.

  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and implementing control systems.

  • Experience with electronics packaging.
