Job Summary:
In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
Our Hardware in the Loop Department within our Environments team in Tucson, Arizona is looking for early career Electrical Engineers. In this role, you’ll be challenged to design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art test environments as part of our multi-disciplined team. You’ll work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, fast- paced team that supports multiple products
- Support electrical engineering efforts such as:
- Design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems
- Technical drawing development
- Schematic creation
- Circuit design and circuit analysis
- Test interface development, including adapters and cabling
- Contributing to systems architecture activities, to ensure compatibility between system level and embedded hardware capabilities
- Develop with System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL languages, Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, or Microsemi devices and tool sets
- Identify and resolve issue and anomalies through debugging, troubleshooting, and related data analysis
- Travel up to 20% may be required to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment
- Obtain and maintain additional access as required by program
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering (EE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree.
- Internship experience supporting electrical engineering activities, such as
- Technical drawing development or schematic creation
- Circuit design or circuit analysis
- VHDL development
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Active and transferrable US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship experience in an engineering role supporting electrical design
- Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalent
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics and/or performing advanced FPGA firmware development (VHDL or Verilog)
- Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
