The DTE utilizes sound technical knowledge and expertise, electrically and mechanically, to operate, maintain, and perform test verification, fault isolation, and repair of numerous Battery Replaceable Units (BRUs) in accordance with test/repair capabilities. The Lead will analyze electrical schematics to develop a robust test strategy for a given circuit and determine coverage the tests provide to each component in the circuit. Additionally, the Lead will develop and maintain product test documentation and/or improve test requirements and related processes. This position will require hands-on operation, sustainment maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Pat 243, 244, 247, 248, PAO & EGW Test Stations.
The DTE may work directly with the QADF soldiers, officers, and representatives and may be required to plan, participate and/or lead hands-on On-the-Job (OJT) training to the QEADF and other technicians/engineers in within the section.
The DTE will be responsible to ensure that all maintenance tasks are properly entered and captured in ALCS. The DTE may prepare, fill out, review, and submit maintenance reports, system problem reports, and perform other duties as directed.
The DTE will report to the DTE Lead. This position is located in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
-Development, maintenance, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues of hardware and test equipment.
-Development of test measurement techniques for evaluation of hardware issues.
-Lead in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
-Proven ability in troubleshooting measurement issues and isolating problems down to the test instrument, fixtures, software level and/or Unit Under Test.
-Lab experience with Spectrum Analyzer, Logic analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscope, and multimeters.
-Experience in developing multiple complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments for Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) test solutions.
-Interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams of program management and system design, electrical, mechanical, software and logistics engineers
-Current Active Secret Security Clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Understanding of radar theory and application
-Experience with laboratory system/subsystem test setup and Special Test Equipment to include Patriot DTE: Pat 243, 244, 247, 248, PAO & EGW Test Stations
-Experience troubleshooting and performing failure analysis on Analog and Digital circuits
-Experience with laboratory system/subsystem test setup and Special Test Equipment
-Prior experience working in the Middle East supporting a foreign military customer
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field AND at least 5 years of related experience. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Must have at least 12 years of related experience without a degree.
Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
