Director, PC&L, EDS Americas

We are seeking a Regional Director to oversee PC&L (Production Control and Logistics) activities for a $1.5 billion business spanning 11 manufacturing facilities across the US, Mexico, Honduras, and Brazil.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive world-class performance in all metrics: customer On-Time Delivery (OTD), inventory and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), regular and premium freight, inventory adjustments, and Excess and Obsolete (E&O) management.
  • Lead the planning process to ensure volume/mix execution.
  • Execute recovery actions to maintain a best-in-class customer delivery process.
  • Manage raw material ordering processes, quickly resolve constraints, and handle supplier escalations related to deliveries.
  • Coordinate and execute quarterly and annual physical inventories.
  • Standardize lessons learned and best practices across the region.
  • Coordinate and execute new product launches, including raw material and finished goods.
  • Plan revenue based on customer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and forecasts.
  • Plan demand and capacity.
  • Develop a world-class team among direct and indirect reports to elevate organizational performance.

Background:

  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience.
  • Expertise in supplier and customer negotiations.
  • Strong financial skills with a Profit and Loss (P&L) approach.
  • Data-driven with advanced analytics experience.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Multi-plant experience, with over 5 years as a multi-site manager.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
