Compression Systems Engineering’s (CSE) Geared Turbo Fan High Pressure Compressor CIPT Leader (CIPTL) is the primary focal point and leader of all cross-functional team activity for HPC’s in all models of P&W’s game-changing GTF engines. The CIPTL provides ownership and accountability for all aspects of the programs including engineering, manufacturing, delivery, quality, and aftermarket. The CIPT provides close support to the manufacturing and supply chain teams that produce the hardware for these modules. The CIPT is responsible for significant international partner design content. The CIPT is responsible for all engineering budget and staffing, including across P&W Global Engineering Centers and outsourcing. Running an organization with this breadth of responsibility requires a leader of the highest caliber.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to clearly communicate with module center management, program management, senior engineering leadership, partners and customers is critical to success.
- Solid technical background and demonstrated command of P&W’s leadership competencies & Leadership Operating Model.
- Since this role is a supervisory position, the CIPTL is responsible for employee satisfaction, development, and performance management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 14+ years of experience of engineering experience, OR
- Master of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 12+ years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under associated programs/contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Excellent judgment and professional maturity
- The ability to build positive relationships and to craft clear communications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
