Job Summary:

Hot Section Module Center Manufacturing is seeking a highly motivated individual to support Hot Section Module Center South as an Development Hole Drill Process Manufacturing Engineer as we prepare for development of new advanced military and commercial engine programs. Technologies with this Process engineer role include Laser and EDM.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop process for new product introductions and development parts and collaborate with design engineering and IPT
  • PFMEA and Control Plan creation
  • Track, compile, and analyze data to understand process capability for decision making and generating projects
  • First Article Inspection and control of manufacturing software
  • Identify & implement shop floor process optimization & control methods to eliminate/prevent QCPC turn backs
  • Provide focused & effective leadership in eliminating EH&S/Ergonomics/Human Factors risks and addressing quality issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering required w/2+ years’ experience.
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Machining knowledge – Grinding, milling, drilling, EDM, Laser
  • General knowledge of NC machines, spindles, axis, drives, scales (FANUC or Siemens)
  • Technical writing, communications skills
  • Lean Manufacturing, ACE, CORE, Six Sigma, Red X, RCCA, problem solving / process control methodologies
