Responsibilities
- Order to Cash processing team provides services to customers by helping them in the areas of optimizing working capital, providing real-time visibility and end-to-end management of revenue and cash flow, and streamlining billing processes.
- Lead the Order to Cash team in Bangalore.
- Responsible for delivering results on Service Level Agreements and related Key Performance Indicators, responsible to achieve green KPIs for respective customers in scope.
- Initiating weekly cash calls to discuss the business progress, challenges with process owners, unapplied payments etc.
- Ensuring customers’ dues are collected on time and help in reviewing, reducing outstanding Accounts Receivables (AR) with rigorous follow ups.
- Ensuring customer invoicing is completed timely and accurately.
- Dealing with the external and internal auditors and supplying them all required reports, backups, and approvals.
- Identify, drive and sustain Order to Cash process improvements and cost efficiency.
- Lead implementation of technology-related process improvement opportunities.
- Manage the performance of staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, performance corrections, career planning and salary recommendations.
- First escalation point for problem resolution between team and customers/entities.
- Training and transfer of knowledge among the team – new process or projects.
- Assure the adequacy of business controls through review, analysis verification.
- Assist with month and year-end closing for Accounts Receivables.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience of leading an AR team.
- Working knowledge of OTC end-to-end processes supported by at least 8+ years of experience with proven track of executed improvements.
- Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, unrelenting attention to detail, resourceful, and a strong work ethic which insists on accuracy and diligence to the assigned tasks.
- Outstanding analytical ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve accounts receivable issues.
- Ability to think critically by applying problem solving practices, using technology and other resources appropriately.
- Ability to establish strong client relationship.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8+ years of work experience
- Proven track record of handling teams
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint
Required Education
- Bachelor/Master degree in commerce, MBA – Finance, CA
