Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking an experienced (5+ years) Database Developer with a passion for designing databases and organizing data. This work will be done as a remote employee. Ideally, this candidate will reside within 50 miles of a major Raytheon site (El Segundo, CA / Aurora, CO / Dallas, TX / Dulles, VA).
The selected candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience with Computer Science, Information Technology, or Database Development. This candidate will identify, prioritize, research and resolve problems. They will enter, review, and analyze data in databases, ensure data integrity, document and record attributes and formulate database query and retrieval of scripts. Not only are we seeking someone with technical skills, but someone who possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, this candidate needs to have the ability to interface and collaborate with peers/team members and supervisors to develop and improve solutions, and to build and maintain rapport and relationships. Finally, but not limited to, possess strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a project-based, fast-paced team. Adapt to learn complex software independently and engage in continuous professional development and has proven to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.
•The candidate will be responsible for development, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of the database and information that is stored in the database tables:•Designing database schema
•Implementing database tables and scripts
•Scripting of import loading of data
•Understanding current tables
•Review input and output data
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in computer science
•Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
•Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, C#, PowerShell)
•Experience with .NET Framework
•Proven experience using SQL with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server or other databases

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project
management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
