Customs Coordinator

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Daily support with creation of various reports (large data handling), collecting of data
  • Preparation of analysis based on information from various sources
  • Communication with Adient plants (in English) in order to obtain the data or verify its correctness
  • Creating of the presentations and other project documentation
  • Research on various customs questions related to legislation or best practice in EMEA countries
  • Customs compliance work like filing of the customs declarations and other customs documents (after training).
  • Support of various improvement projects and initiatives
  • Perform data analytics to identify issues, risks and opportunities that may arise
  • Oversee implementation and operation of information technology solutions
  • Coordinate with other functional partners, such as Finance, Risk Management, Legal Counsel, Tax, Information Systems, Procurement, Supply Planning, Logistics, etc. to resolve and/or improve related activities
  • Conduct auditing/monitoring of the activities of Adient personnel and personnel of agents and service providers

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Good analytical skills, result-driven attitude and job ownership.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Very good communication skills, team player
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal. Any other language is a plus
  • Flexibility of mind and ability to work independently
  • Experience with Power BI and SAP is an advantage
  • Detail oriented, and adaptive to change
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
