Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms. Additionally, in 2013 production of motors for wipers has began. Plant’s main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about 100 staff members

Currently for Valeo Wiper Systems in Skawina we recruit a Customer Technical Product Manager
Mission:
Customer Technical Product Manager is a higher technical management position in the R&D organization ensuring common technical solutions provided to many projects for the same customer or customer group.
The position is a main interface for all technical activities inside the R&D to the customers and Customer Project Directors.
Standard: It ensures common standards and technology to be developed world wide for the particular customer.
Strategy:
- It ensures the consistency of the technical solution across multiple projects for the same customer.
- It ensures the consistency and the continuity of the technical communication across multiple projects for the same customer.
Your challenges:
- Regular and active contact with the customer in different regions
- Evaluate business objectives, potentials and feature development schedule
- Providing overall system/component development roadmap for customer projects
- Collaborate with Research and Innovation department to ensure features development expected on the market
- Ensure all customer technical requirements for existing and future products will be respected and analyzed by project and platform teams
- Actively propose update of standard features and components according to customer expectations
- Propose standard Valeo solutions and platforms to the customer
- Harmonize test and validation methods across regions (sharing of lessons learned, methods...etc)
- With the help of the various Disciplines, create connections, build a network (internally and at Customer), influences customer specs and test methods
- Steer and manage technical meetings with different product managers and discipline stakeholders
- Gather and consolidate all technical problems and cascade to engineering teams
- Work out common solutions for different projects within customer group.
- Manage engineering costs optimisation for the customer
Join our team if you have:
- Engineering degree (bachelor or higher)
- Study profiles: Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrotechnics or similar engineering profile
- Proven experience in R&D development activities min. 7 years
- Proven experience in people, multinational team management
- Complex projects management experience min. 7 years
- Proven experience in software development for embedded systems
- Process development: ASPICE, SAFe,
- Strong and motivated attitude to provide deliveries on time
- Proven experience in working out compromises and best solutions for the customer
- Very strong organizational skills to motivate team members
- Active participation in project discussions, its risks and alternative solutions with the customer
- Ability to discuss software development aspects like: releases, techniques, branching strategies etc.
- Ability to discuss hardware development aspects like: PCB design, EMC, uC architecture.
