WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR have an exciting new opportunity for a Product Owner with a drive and passion for developing data driven customer experiences to join our team. You will oversee the design and build of the data services that customer facing applications would consume to ensure customers receive the best experience, driving value and loyalty, while ensuring product development meets time, cost and quality parameters.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Build and manage customer data services on the integration data platform.
- Support the demands from business stakeholders - Understand the expected Business Outcomes, in order to be able to link the business demands to the product features and report the value they are expecting.
- Own the Product Backlog, ensuring it is transparent, visible and understood - Creation of the short-, medium- and long-term product roadmap as well as be involved in group agile events e.g. squad sprint planning, showcases and backlog refinement
- Manages squad level dependencies and impediments internal & external to the Customer Data Group.
- Responsible for managing risks of business products and their enablers and driving mitigating actions and removing blockers to enable squad to deliver the backlog.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Exposure to software development in the field utilising industry standard design patterns.
- Previous experience in product ownership and project delivery. Proficient in the analysis and implementation of customer requirements, product backlog and product vision.
- Experience with working across organisational silos and breaking down barriers to successful product ownership or project delivery.
- Delivery of high-quality user stories and how to drive to a satisfactory MVP.
- Experience of delivering products through Agile methodologies.
