Collins is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support our Business Jet contracts. You will manage complex contracts and recommend legal and commercial strategy in support of business interests. You will also improve department processes through the application of deep knowledge and experience in the contracts function.
This position works Onsite in Chula Vista, CA.
May be eligible for relocation.
Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the interpretation and management of complex contract documents, in accordance with internal and external requirements.

Collaborates with internal functional groups to ensure contract compliance and determine commercial strategies.
-
Provides contract analysis and white papers/position summaries on complex contractual issues for leadership review in preparation for customer negotiation. Advises the organization on issues concerning contract matters.

Performs contract/commercial negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to support business initiatives and strategies.

Travel up to 10%.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Experience in contract administration with an understanding of contract terms and conditions, commercial quoting, business writing and customer relationship management.

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 176,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
