Collins Aerospace is seeking an Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) Item Engineer.

This position is eligible for relocation assistance.

Primary Responsibilities:
    • Performing regular inventory of C-ICP assets onsite in Largo Facility at least 3 days a week
    • Updating inventory database as items move throughout factory
    • Monitoring Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) for requisitions
    • Working with the depot Operations Program Manager to identify replacement A condition assets
    • Customer coordination and status on inventory reportable to Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS)
    • Monthly/Quarterly Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliveries 
    • Support Quarterly Government/Customer Audits
    • Up to 10% Travel to include international travel

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
    • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
    • Previous audit/compliance experience
    • Previous leadership experience leading a team of engineers, oversight of schedules and budgets
    • Ability to take an analytical approach and utilize technical knowledge to solve challenges with optimal solutions
    • Strong organization, problem solving, time management and communications skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with program management, functional leads and government customer
    • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance (active preferred)

Security Clearance:  
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
    • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
    • Independent work product ownership
    • Prior experience with SAP based toolsets and Raytheon PRISM/CMES experience
    • Common PDM Experience
    • Previous Government Customer Relationship/Supports
    • Prior experience supporting proposals and/or CDRL submittals
    • Experience on Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Hardware
    • Capable of reading and understanding contractual requirements in SOW/Contractual Letters of Direction
    • Mission/Quality Assurance, Operations Program Manager, or Factory Based Lead Role (MA/OPM/ManfE)
