The Role

Configuration Specialist role exists within Configuration team in Professional Services vertical. This position is responsible for delivering customizations and ensuring seamless data flow and workflow logic within Solera's products. This role involves implementing customer-specific requirements to optimize user experience and enhance product functionality.

What You’ll Need

  • Good expert level understanding (2 years minimum) of software programming (javascript), HTML, CSS, XML - configurator should know how to write expressions in pseudo-code, target task and case data
  • Able to take user stories, and requests for change, to configure and prepare systems for Solera customers.
  • Analytical approach – a configurator must be able to problem-solve through the application of logic.  The role of the configurator is in many ways the role of a detective, following through each problem from end result all the way back to the root cause
  • Working under pressure - deadlines are often tight and mission-critical
  • Willingness to learn and cooperate - understanding what other team members are doing, how they are solving problems is always best practice
  • Understanding of implications of changes - the person must be able to think beyond the immediate change they plan to make and assess the risk to other projects
  • Build positive and collaborative relationships globally with key stakeholders
  • Understand legacy vs modern SDLC lifecycles so as to be able to adapt to both.
  • Enjoy working as part of a global multilingual team.
