Job Summary:

If you would like to work in a dynamic environment and possess the motivation and skills to incorporate new ideas into practice, this may be an opportunity for you. This position is in the P&W North Berwick HR department.

This is 1st shift position.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for a variety projects and program management processes that apply across all of North Berwick Aero Systems.

This position will be responsible for coordination of all public relations events and maintaining relationships, including but not limited to school and college programs, student tours and outreach, governmental and legislative visits, and community service programming.

This position will require creation and management of most site level communications, both formal and informal, providing for robust internal communications to achieve business results. Site level communications include but are not limited to General Notices, Employee Handbook updates, job postings, supervisory and manager focused communications, and webpage oversite.

Working with the RTX/PW Communications team, this position will be responsible for external communications including but not limited to public advertising, press releases, social media, and local printed and digital media.

As part of the HR team, this position will support all of Pratt & Whitney North Berwick recruitment efforts, including management of recruiting materials, promotional items, and promotion of hiring events, internally and externally, as needed.

Responsible for employee engagement programing including but not limited to, annual employee appreciation lunch, support for North Berwick ERG’s, MORE award program, and other employee events, both internal and external, as they occur.

Working with RTX/PW CSR team and the North Berwick leadership team, this position will be responsible for management and execution of the annual Corporate Social Responsibility budget. 

The ideal candidate has strong organization and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and project planning background to create experiences for employees to understand Pratt & Whitney’s mission, goals, and culture.

This role will work with North Berwick Site Leadership team, RTX/PW Communications team, and other internal organizations to achieve desired goals and objectives.

Must have strong communication (oral and written) skills and organizational skills.

Must be able to create clear, compelling messaging, to be received by a diverse site wide population.

Must be motivated, self-starters who sets and meets deadlines, having the ability to work multiple projects in a dynamic and changing environment.

Some travel may be required in support of local or regional events

Basic Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in communication, business or other related field OR 5+ years’ experience in communications, public relations, or related fields.

Must have experience using Microsoft Office, including O365 collaborative tools.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of public relations, local, state, and federal

Background in Corporate Social Responsibility
