Job Summary:

Pratt & Whitney’s Compression Systems Module Center, CSMC, is seeking an experienced NC programmer to join our programming team.

Responsibilities:

  • The NC programming position requires ability to support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls and programming software.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience with planning, creating, developing and implementing the programs and associated processes.
  • Candidate will own programs through implementation into production and provided necessary shop support through the development and production cycle.
  • Opportunities include selection of new capital equipment and bringing the new equipment into production, participating in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects, and process improvement projects on existing hardware to improve product cost and quality and reduce lead time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.   Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contract
  • Candidate must have demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software, including UGNX and Vericut and be able to utilize process monitoring software.
  • Candidate must have ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and continuous improvement projects preferred.
