Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced or Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to join the Digital Transformation Business Operations - Program Management Office (PMO) team in North Charleston, South Carolina or Everett, Washington.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will build a digital information system that manages the flow of program performance against various Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The successful candidate is able to develop effective partnerships with team members, partners, leaders and peers. They will simultaneously lead multiple data projects while partnering with our internal customers to ensure a OneBoeing approach!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create data visualizations from complex data sets using programs such as R-Shiny and Tableau.
  • Develop and maintain API integrations between internal and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Connect multiple data sources from Azure Dev Ops, integrated schedules, PLM systems, and more.
  • Build new data sources as applicable for connecting a digital thread of authoritative project/program data.
  • Create online BI applications that are used by the entire org: from agile teams, all the way to senior VPs. Develop user-friendly front-end applications using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Partner with BI developers in adjacent organizations, including India based team.

This position is expected to be a hybrid position that allows 80% onsite, with the option of 20% telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in one of the listed locations: North Charleston, SC or Everett, WA

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics
  • 3+ years of experience working with databases
  • 3+ years of experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, Tableau, etc.)
  • Proficient in SQL and Power Query

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with using .NET framework.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior leaders within the Program team
  • 1+ years of experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, Framework or related frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience working in a software development environment 
  • 1+ years of experience telling stories via data visualizations 

Typical Education/Experience: 
(Level 3): Typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

 (Level 4): Typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced (Level 3) Summary Pay Range: $88,400 - 119,600

Senior (Level 4) Summary Pay Range: $112,200 – 151,800
