WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Powertrain Energy Storage System (ESS) In-house Engineering team have a brand new exciting vacancy for a Product Owner to manage the development of the BMS system within the traction battery.  You will be working closely with development team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our clients and are delivered on time and within budget. You will lead the development of BMS and associated components (CSCs, BECM) as well as the BMS SW. You will also be responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance on product development. 



Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

As a Lead System Integration & Delivery Engineer, you’ll be:

 

•    Owning and manage the product vision and road map

•    Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria 

•    Set sprint goals 

•    Follow progress of work and address issues during sprints 

•    Own, manage and prioritize product backlog

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

•    Track record in managing product life cycle through design control process.

•    Proven track record using Problem Solving toolsets such as 8D for issue resolution.

•    Proven experience delivering charging systems for BEV platforms

•    Working knowledge of EV battery thermal system

•    Strong business & commercial acumen covering strategy development, supplier selection & negotiation.
