ATR - R&T Project Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

ACTIVITIES

In this position, you will be accountable for R&T plan execution by ensuring project deliveries in time, cost, quality, performance for integrated technologies towards innovative future products and services in line with ATR product strategy.  This includes, assisting the Ho R&T in the definition and implementation of the internal R&T roadmap in line with ATR objectives and top directives, prioritizing the projects (value for money) in line with those objectives.

In addition, within the R&T community to support the multifunctional, trans-national project teams & external partners and to boost efficiency by applying harmonized methods and tools in an agile way.

You will be responsible for the following tasks dealing with the Major R&T projects assigned to you:

  • Define and prepare projects’ contractual documentation: (Gantt Agreement, Convention, Consortium Agreement) ensuring relevant updates, as required.
  • Define, implement and manage the projects’ team/organization during the phase of the project, including people of other functions (matrix organization).
  • Develop projects’ baselines (costs, schedule, deliverables, risks, opportunities…) & ensure projects follow-up for a  projects’ successful execution.
  • Work unplanned Major R&T projects issues to a best solution, including development of plans-forward, escalation and adapt budget and schedule, as required.
  • Prepare and provide R&T projects financing Organizations with requested documentation for technical development and financial follow-up.
  • Actively contribute to R&T projects management activities (General Assembly, Steering Committee, Advisory Board…) as per applicable “Project Management Plan” documents
  • Consolidating key Performance data for R&T Programme Review Meetings, facilitating efficient monitoring, reporting and communication
  • Coordinate (internally and externally) the yearly “Credit d’Impots Recherche” (CIR) activity and produce all documentation requested to the Engineering Department
  • Develop good external relationship with partners and institutions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with engineering, and ATR Directorates/Departments and Services
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the future R&T plan in line with ATR R&T objectives & product strategy.

PROFILE

  • Good level of technical background with at least 10 years of experience in aeronautics
  • Advanced level of English and French
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating projects
  • Demonstrated experience in setting up R&T projects (European, French, …) and establishment of research partners consortium

Requested technical skills are:

  • Knowledge of aircraft design and aircraft development process
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies for decarbonizing aviation
  • Knowledge of Project Management practices and tools
  • Knowledge of European and National (F) R&T financing Organizations framework & processes
  • Knowledge of IP and legal aspects
