Essential Skills :
· Hands-on experience in Embedded software Design & Development, Verification, and Certification for Aerospace Applications
· Strong Project Management skills (PMP / PMI ACP / SAFE / CSPO preferred) and Stakeholder Management
· Manage Project Execution in Agile and Conventional Project environments.
· Hands-on experience in the areas of Embedded Development using the Model-Based Development Methods,
· Understanding from Planning, Developing, and Certification of DO178B/C Software Applications.
· Expertise in simultaneously managing multiple teams and projects; and certifications.
· Inclination to Develop and Improve products with technology and ideation.
· Significant domain knowledge of products and systems in Flight Displays and Computational Software .
Job Responsibilities
· Deliver Business outcomes of the Software Development and Verification Projects by working with People, Stakeholders, and leadership.
· Collaborate across to execute department and team strategies.
· Leads and directs a team of experienced engineers in establishing and ensuring compliance.
· Responsible for day-to-day operations of the functional team and Ensuring process efficiencies and Improvement.
· Drive building of robust competencies around the functional areas and implement standard processes across the organization.
· Designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate continuous process improvements to ensure we implement best practices across the organization.
· Drive organizational development initiatives: Talent Management; Performance Management; and Change Management.
· Plan, analyze, design, test, and document software/systems of high complexity and contribute to system integration, Understand, utilize, and improve internal processes and tools for the development of software.
· Act as a mentor for your team managers in additional areas including project planning and execution. Generate engineering estimates on complex software designs.
· Estimate, track, and report project costs and schedules. May lead cross-functional/domain teams in a Project Engineering role.
· Ensures compliance with development processes and standard work requirements.
· Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
· Interfaces with US-based POCs / SMEs for status & validation approach/design.
· Responsible for tactical execution of day-to-day operations.
· Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling responsibilities for groups of engineers.
· Responsible for the development and technical coaching of staff.
· Responsible for conducting annual reviews, Performance discussions, and check-ins with the team.
· Responsible for onboarding and assimilation of new hires.
