The Electronic Warfare Advanced Systems Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated Associate Program Director to lead a product line of strategic programs. Programs include design, development and near term production. The Associate Director will also be responsible for new business creation through driving ECP’s with existing customers and the creation of new programs to adjacent customers. The portfolio will exceed $150M over the next 5 years. They will be responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of existing IRAD efforts, new business investment, and programs.
This position is an onsite role in El Segundo, CA OR McKinney, TX.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

IMS and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements.

Establishes an executable baseline schedule; negotiating and executing change requirements.

Travel between Raytheon sites and visit customer locations in support of business execution and growth requirements (10-25% of the time).

Drives a cross-functional team with focus on Design and Development, Operations and Production. The PM should have a strong grasp of the production life cycle.

Acts as primary customer contact on status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs within scope of contract.

Ensures implementation of a robust Risk & Opportunity Management plan, including proactive schedule risk management, to ensure predictable program performance.

Focuses, evaluates, motivates and rewards the program team, enabling them to achieve desired results.
Basic Qualifications:
-
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
-
Experience in competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, conduct of color teams, and price-to-win analysis.

Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting metrics.
-
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
-
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
-
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
-
Proven track record of capturing and successfully executing programs
-
Understanding of EW principles, systems, RF system design, testing knowledge and concepts of operations.

Program management experience in all program lifecycle phases, including development, production and sustainment; ability to engage culturally diverse and senior level customers as well as industry partners.

RTX Program Manager level 4 PMX certification, or must be able to obtain within one year.

Track record in successfully leading IR&D, NBI, and/or customer funded program/projects.

Experience managing production programs, with emphasis on transition to qualification and testing.

The salary range for this role is 152,000 USD - 304,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
