The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: 
 

Summary of Role:

RTX Enterprise Cybersecurity is building a centralized team to improve RTX resilience to cybersecurity threats.  The Cyber Incident Leader will perform enterprise-wide coordination and communication during major cybersecurity events and incidents and support process maturity and improvement activities.
 

Candidate should be well versed in managing complex situations, engaging with a multitude of stakeholders and focused on continous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop the Cyber Crisis Enterprise strategy to ensure RTX  Cyber Incidents are well organized, executed and resolved.
  • Lead a team to develop, communicate, and execute cyber crisis management plans and playbooks.
  • Coordinate and lead cyber crisis management tabletops, wargames, process and procedure testing and corrective actions.
  • Lead cross-functional crisis and incident management teams during an enterprise-wide cyber crisis.
  • Conduct incident after action reviews to identify strengths, improvement opportunities and track corrective actions.
  • Identify and develop the Cyber Crisis Enterprise strategy to ensure RTX  Cyber Incidents are well organized, executed and resolved.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years operational experience across multiple Cybersecurity disciplines.
  • Prior experience in developing and leading as a people manager
  • Prior experience as an incident handler / coordinator / responder / commander
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, business process or DT control auditing.
  • Expert understanding of technical/security concepts such as network architecture design, logical access controls, vulnerability management, encryption, and cloud computing.
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks/projects in a disciplined and organized fashion while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, some of which may be geographically distributed.
  • Experienced in organizational and business change management.

Education: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience.

Location: Remote - Travel Required

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
