Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Applications Developer to support applications development, Operations and Maintenance, and test support on a variety of systems and initiatives focused on streamlining operations, automating processes, and aligning customer solutions to the overarching digital architecture. The ideal candidate will help promote state-of-the-art data management and analytic solutions, collaborating with IT mission partners to share technology and lessons learned and ensure records management processes and requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions across the Intelligence Community. Additionally, this individual will work in concert with the customer technical interfaces to ensure future plans for technology are in line with the plans for the overall customer architecture.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors Degree or 11 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Java
Experience with JavaScript / Typescript
Experience with application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS); Experience developing applications with the Node.js framework
Experience with Python
Hands on experience with cloud technology (AWS / C2S)
Experience with web services (REST) and service oriented architecture (SOA) – Spring Boot, Tomcat
Experience with relational databases (ex - Oracle / Postgres)
Experience with interacting in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting, VI)
Ability to work well with others as well as independently (MUST leave ego at the door)
Desired Skills:
Experience with Microservices
Familiarity with Source code management and integration (ex - GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins)
Experience in an Agile environment

Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
