The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

We are searching for a timekeeping/finance associate to join our Enterprise Services Global Time & Labor Group with a focus on payroll timekeeping, audit and support for Supervisors, their Direct Reports and Human Resources Professionals. 

This is a high volume, fast paced, team oriented, metric driven environment focused on individual and team performance and continuous improvement.

Members of this team coordinate with a multitude of business units to ensure employee time is accurately processed within stringent timelines for weekly and semimonthly pay cycles.

In this role you will work with your team members to review and audit time entries for accuracy and identify training needs for end users to ensure the payroll and labor systems will process without errors.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Reporting – prepare information for senior leaders of the team, cross functional finance groups and internal clients to support payroll accuracy.

  • Issue Resolution for Employees and their Supervisors – Respond to employee, manager, and HR business partner queries regarding paycheck accuracy. A strong customer service mindset is key to success in this area.

  • Timekeeping/Payroll Consulting – Our team members play a critical role in the planning and execution of cross functional initiatives. You will need to learn quickly and be able to translate that knowledge into real world scenarios.

  • Quality Assurance – support internal audits during the pay process as well as external audits initiated by other business units and government agencies.

Members of this team have a responsibility to protect sensitive employee data. They also have an opportunity to interact with a variety of business units and ensure they have processes in place to meet compliance regulations while also ensuring that employee data is secured during the process.

This is a key role and offers the opportunity for career growth and increased responsibility and prepares a team member to be an integral part of project teams for critical company initiatives.

This is a remote position and may require light (<10%) travel for team meetings and site visits.

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. Minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • Strong experience and ability to provide exceptional customer service in a corporate environment.

  • Curious nature and the ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve complex customer issues.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlines.

  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and work independently as well as collaborate with teammates for effective workload management and to fulfill customer requirements. 

  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data review and reporting (ie. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc).

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft, SAP, HR tools, Payroll systems and/or other Finance systems.

  • Knowledge of general Finance and Human Resource concepts, practices, and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 98,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
