Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Perform product, process and work instruction reviews. Review and approve FAI’s, Service Masters, Work Instructions. Interface with various Engineering groups and Customer Support to resolve technical/quality issues. Lead and participate in various teams in support of the unit’s CORE goals. Provide technical guidance and training to inspectors.
  • Interface with off-shift production supervision to help prevent quality work stops.
  • QN creation/documentation through SAP. Interface with regulatory agencies, customers, and external vendors to resolve technical/quality issues.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001. Quality Stamp control. Variation control and closure.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated effective root cause determination skills, Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.
  • Ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, familiarity with geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
