Job Summary:
Raytheon’s Air Power Business Area is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Mission Integration Systems finance team to support Air Operations Capabilities programs. The finance program lead will be responsible for managing the financial performance of an Air Operations program. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with Program Area Directors, Program Managers, and customer representatives from finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives. The Finance lead is a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of proposals, Gate reviews, contract negotiations, financial reporting, FP&A and EACs.
The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of programs. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.
- This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Establish themselves as business partner to program leadership team and Air Operations Business Manager
- Establish and maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255.
- Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.
- Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
- Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete.
- Utilize and share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team.
- Support follow on proposal and growth activities.
- Prepare and analyze program staffing to support SSBU level staffing demand reviews including working with cross function leads to identify gaps and plans to closure.
- Support preparation of detailed cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMR/IMPDAR), Contractor Funding Summary Report (CFSRs), Cost Data Summary Report (1921), and Functional Cost Hour Report (1921-1) as required.
- Support the monthly forecast / close process.
- Support the development of the five year strategic and annual operating plans.
- Candidate will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment. This position will include working independently to ensure successful EVMS execution on the program.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Earned Value Certification
- EVMS audit/surveillance experience
- SAP APEX EV, BW, PMX, Rplan, and EDIT+ experience
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)
- Must be independent and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
- Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve
- Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance
- ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
