WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As the ADAS Platform Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the creation, development and integration of an executable platform system model to describe, visualize and enable the system that will deliver the premium experience our customers expect, decomposing the solution into manageable parts. 

You will innovate - evaluating new technologies and applying systems thinking engineering principles to develop the next generation of Driver Assistance Automation systems.

You will help us to see clearly - Leading the creation, development and integration of an executable system model to describe and visualize the system that will deliver the premium experience our customers expect.

You will embrace a Growth mindset - Continuously learning and looking for ways to improve your design, making effective and necessary changes for the best customer experience.

Apply problem solving every day - build reliability, resilience, and robustness into every design you create and the engineering inquisition to hunt for the issues that may not be visible at point of problem definition as you solve the issues relating to your system. 

 

 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that all legal and quality activities required by the Systems engineers in the department have been completed on time and to the required quality level

  • Support resolution of complex, cross-functional and cross-Domain issues

  • Support the development of Architecture Concepts for future features and so that the needs of the AAD Products

  • Keep up to speed with major developments in systems engineering practice

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As the ADAS platform systems engineer you will need to have knowledge and proven experience of all aspects of systems engineering: concept design, requirements authoring, logical and solution architecture, quality and legal activities. You will need working experience with agile methodologies and tools.

 

  • Ability to develop conceptual designs for new vehicle features and systems 

  • Experience using problem solving tools

  • Competent SysML modeler, ideally MSOSA, and TRM requirements author

  • Competent requirements author (ideally TRM, or other requirements management tools) 

  • Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO-26262), Cyber, GDPR and Quality techniques
