Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through employee meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsible for engine assembly.
- Establish standards and expectation for work effort and performance for subordinates. Give constant feedback on performance to those standards. Communicate with other department personnel and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and actively to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving production goals.
- Allocate and assigning resources, coach employees to improve performance when needed, perform administrative functions as related to bargaining unit employees including maintaining training, quality, and attendance records and manage cell overtime and equitably distribute among employees.
- Communicate with other department personnel and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all employees are fully trained in required aspects of Environmental Health & Safety, World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all Environmental Health & Safety requirements promptly and department equipment is clean, properly maintained, records and labels properly affixed, and uptime optimized while meeting all safety requirements.
- Ensure full involvement in continuous improvement initiatives is consistently upheld.
- Utilize continuous improvement tools to improve production, performance, and reduce scrap, rework, and repair. Achieve continuous improvement levels as planned.
- Ensure compliance to all Quality policies and procedures.
- Control quality, productivity, and process flow to meet customer Material Requirement Planning (MRP) requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience in manufacturing, operations or production
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year supervisory experience.
- Continuous improvement certificates/training such as 6 sigma practitioner/Professional certification.
- Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles.
- Experience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
