Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineering Directorate is responsible for the design, test, manufacture, and support of advanced electrical subsystems (target detection, target tracking, guidance, navigation, signal processing, and communication) to be utilized in extreme battle-field environments.
The Space EO (Electro-Optical) Electronics Department designs and develops electronics and test equipment for Communications and EO sensors. We provide engineering, technology development, and test & manufacturing support for an extensive line of space-based systems.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Assist in definition of electrical circuit card assembly architecture, requirements, and documentation.

Participate in peer reviews of circuit card assembly design documentation.

Perform analysis and simulation of circuit designs.
-
Generate plans and documentation for circuit card test and validation.

Perform testing of electrical circuit cards and units
This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Graduate based on the candidate's classification as determined by grad year on resume and provided via questionnaire by candidate as outlined below:

(Freshman Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program

(Senior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
-
(Post-Graduate Technical Intern)- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship
Basic Qualifications:
-
Must be at least a sophomore by the start of Summer 2024 and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

Experience with electrical circuit fundamental components and schematics.
-
Experience with electrical circuit test equipment such as Ohm meters and/or oscilloscopes.
-
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.

3.0 cumulative GPA desired.

Exposure to electrical CAD tools (PSpice, Mentor Graphics, or similar)

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Experience with oral and written communication

Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Location:
The salary range for this role is $48,000 - $76,000 however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
