Job Summary:
Successful candidate for the Configurable Digital Logic Summer 2024 Internship position will participate in multi-discipline teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE tools and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis, and support of Raytheon Missile & Defense electronics products. This may include digital, analog, power, and mixed signal circuit card assemblies, FPGA/VHDL programming or ASIC support, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineering.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Depending on the individual’s area of interest and experience, responsibilities may include:

Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design
-
Configurable digital logic development using VHDL.
-
Functional analysis
-
Modeling and development of designs, including DSP and other math functions, using Python, MATLAB, etc.

Integration in labs using python and C/C++
-
Functional verification testing
-
Automation tool development using shell scripts, python, Perl
-
Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues.
This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate based on the based on the candidate's classification as determined by grad year on resume and provided via questionnaire by candidate as outlined below:

(Freshman Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.

(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
-
(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
-
(Senior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.

(Post-Graduate Technical Intern)- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post-Graduate by the start of Summer 2024 in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

Coursework in one or more of the following areas: digital circuit design, analog circuit design, VHDL coding, digital signal processing or control theory.

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
