Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for the guidance, navigation, signal processing, target detection and tracking system functions of the electrical subsystems used in our products. Job responsibilities of this role vary but include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment, performing system and circuit level analysis, subsystem integration and test, supporting failure investigations, maintaining and creating documentation, and interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers.
The Effector Power Department is tasked with analog design to include power electronics (DC/DC focus), motor controls, flight termination, and telemetry systems.
This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Your experience may include any of the following:

Designing circuits
-
Testing electronic hardware & software
-
Analyzing and simulating electronic designs
-
Programming test capabilities
-
Selecting parts (and alternate parts) for electronic designs

Guiding drafters though the physical design of printed circuit boards
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) major.
-
Experience or coursework in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, power electronics, power conversion, electromagnetics, linear controls, analog design, or control theory.
-
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
-
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard.

3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
-
Lab experience with analog electronics.
-
Circuit simulation experience.
-
Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls electronics.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.

Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
