The Role
As an IMS Mainframe Database Systems Programmer, you will play a critical role in the deployment, management, and support of GM's global mainframe database infrastructure. Collaborating with database vendors, infrastructure teams, DBAs, and application developers, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our mainframe database systems, including Db2 and IMS. This position involves implementing best practices, optimizing performance, and maintaining consistency across GM’s enterprise-wide mainframe database landscape.
