Working Party Representative (Germany, Worldwide)

Job Description:

In the view of grow-up of the Working-Parties activity and the support of Airbus fleet all around the world, a position of Working-Party Representative located in Dresden, Germany is opened.

The applicants must already have the right to live and work in Germany.

Job requirements:

-To represent Airbus at MRO’s facilities from aircraft input up to aircraft release to Service, act as Airbus Representative and single point of contact on MRO site;

- Interface with all stakeholders, with regular report to Airbus Project Manager

-To ensure the Airbus interests are fully preserved,
- To ensure planning is respected,

- To provide support on engineering issues

- Ensure that the aircraft working party(ies) are completed in accordance with the work package;

- Interface, when necessary, with the CAMO in charge of the aircraft to ensure alignment

- Monitor on day to day the MROs progress performing the working party;

- Manage and challenge technically the additional and/or deviation works such as but not limited to Non Recurrent Costs, raised by MRO during such working party. Those additional works will be closely monitored and recorded through a consolidated follow- up list including for each of them the acceptance decision and associated quote if any;

- Manage, challenge technically and financially any Components/parts purchasing, repair solution which may be proposed in accordance with the industrial schedule;

- Organize and attend with the MRO the necessary coordination and progress meeting;
-Participate in daily production meetings at the MRO’s premises;
-Organize as required with the MROs the relevant coordination review;
- Identify the critical path and risks of the working party and promote mitigation measures;

- Check and verify that the Work Orders have actually been performed and review the working party file before the signature

- Complete all the necessary specific documentation and paperwork as per the applicable standards and requirements.

- Manage the coordination on MRO’s parts request with the stakeholders in place, including the organization contracted by the Purchaser for Supply Chain Coordination if applicable,

- Check and follow up the modification kits availability;

- Manage, and financially challenge when necessary, the additional works and or deviation costs raised by the MRO during the Working Party;

- Ensure appropriate cost management as per the provided guidelines.

- Ensure the physical participation in all the meetings organized by the different
stakeholders before, during and after the Working Party; and ensure the proper information cascading to the concerned reporting line.

- Check and monitor, throughout all the Working Party, that the work package provided to the MRO is well applied in the agreed lead times and costs. If any deviations, these will be reported accordingly.

- MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, G-Suite and MS Project

- Experience : 5 to 10 years relevant work experience in the aviation/aerospace sector.

- Aircraft Structures and Workshop sheet metal experiences

- Diploma or Degree in relevant field, with solid work experience

- Strong aircraft structure repair and maintenance activities/process knowledge

- Experience of working on Airbus programmes is a plus.
