Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Source, select and qualify suppliers by conducting assessments and participating to audits.
- Lead calls for tender in line with UMS purchasing strategy and procurement process.
- Conduct negotiations to obtain the best purchasing conditions.
- Contractualize and ensure proper execution of contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Treat purchase requests by creating and issuing purchase orders via the ERP System (SAP).
- Organize business reviews with key suppliers.
- Assess supplier risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
- Follow-up and analyse external spend for global reporting & propose cost optimizations and report savings.
- Follow-up and improve the performance of the suppliers on On-Time Delivery and Quality viewpoints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of engineering and / or economic ideally completed with a specialized degree in procurement.
- Several years of experience in procurement in an industrial environment.
- Know-how in management of goods for the semiconductor industry like raw material (Metals, etc.) and chemical products; ideally experience in purchase of Facility Management needs.
- Good negotiation skills and knowledge of supplier management.
- Fluent in German and business fluent in English.
