Job Requisition ID #

24WD84607

Our global team recruits the talent that creates software to help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world.  Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Sourcer/Talent Scout who understands technology and has a strong ability to build a diverse pipeline of talent for both technical and non-technical roles. The ideal candidate will have experience developing diverse pipeline through creative sourcing, tools automation, data enrichment and the ability to nurture our diverse talent.

About the Role

We are changing the way we source talent for Autodesk.  As a Talent Scout, you will leverage Market Insight and Automation to develop an always on pipeline delivery model.  You will work closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and our Business Partners to source, attract, review, screen and deliver the best-in-class diverse talent for Autodesk.

This role is a blend of strategic resourcing (what’s happening next) and tactical resourcing (the here and now). You’ll need to have nimble learning capabilities to quickly understand the Autodesk business so you can develop the right strategies to engage candidates from the start. We encourage practical and creative ways to surface leading talent, and we invest a lot of time activating passive candidates through partner organizations and other channels.

Why Join the Talent Management Team at Autodesk?

We are accountable, meet our commitments and deliver outstanding results to our customers. We value collaboration, speed and flexibility.  This is truly a rare opportunity to work at a market leader helping to fuel the future.

You will:

  • Define, design and execute sourcing strategies that result in quality submittals as well as hires.

  • Work closely with fellow Talent Scouts, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and our Global Diversity & Belonging team to understand technical and non-technical requirements of various roles

  • Proactively build an inclusive talent pipeline through referral generation, online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns

  • Screen resumes and interview candidates

  • Manage and nurture our community of diverse talent

  • Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters

  • Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline

  • Articulate the Autodesk vision and story with candidates

  • Write descriptive and relevant candidate notes in executive summary form (candidate background, achievements, motivations, comp expectations, hurdles to hiring) for presentation to manager/recruiter

Qualifications

You have:

  • 3-5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience with an agency or in-house recruiting team

  • An understanding of the opportunities and challenges in building a diverse talent pool and the tenacity to overcome obstacles and challenges

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, CRM and other sourcing tools (Workday, Beamery, LI Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.) to maintain candidate pipeline

  • Be up to date with new sourcing methodologies, chrome extensions and enrichment tools

  • The ability to build and maintain a long-term pipeline for hard-to-fill roles

  • Develop and maintain various strategies resulting in the engagement of passive technical candidates

  • Experience using data and metrics to advise partners and make recommendations

  • Technical industry knowledge and general comprehension of relevant technical skills, relevant companies, engineering communities, and other technical resources

  • Strong communication skills and team play:  You understand how to keep stakeholders appraised without prompting and adapt your style to a technical engineer vs. a VP.

  • You’ll know how to write a good email. Concise, well worded and clear email communication is a skill that we value, as is someone who knows they are accountable and how to prioritize workloads.

  • Your approach to work includes a positive attitude, a high degree of ownership, and a focus on results.
