Position Overview

The Content Strategy & Experience team in Customer Technical Success (CTS) ensures high-quality product expertise is delivered to customers as they learn, adopt, and use Autodesk's platform through impactful content experiences. To accelerate on our journey of delivering a world-class experience and supporting users of all sizes across industries, we are looking for a Technical Content Developer, Installation & Licensing to join a newly formed team of content creators who design integrated omni-channel audience-centric content plans and focus on continuous content improvements to drive customer success.

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Content Development, you will orchestrate content development for customers and partners with a clear focus on helping them adopt industry leading 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software through an enhanced installation and licensing experience.

Hybrid role, located within commuting distance of Autodesk office.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to use analytics, customer feedback, and business objectives to create audience-focused content plans that improve customers' installation and licensing experience across all Autodesk products post-purchase

  • Design and implement programs to help CTS manage the entire content lifecycle, aligning customer needs with the right content formats and delivery systems to ensure positive and meaningful customer interactions with our products and services

  • Improve content to increase consumption and findability of installation and licensing support through digital channels

  • Ensure the right content is available to all users at the right time by anticipating customer needs, eliminating duplicate efforts, and reusing content

  • Manage content integration for new products and rebranding efforts

  • Set goals for technical content development, monitor progress, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance effectiveness

  • Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation, focusing on efficiency and quality

  • Represent CTS at industry events both internally and externally (Tech series, booth, product overviews), building trust and authority among peers and collaborators through clear communication, alignment, and delivering significant outcomes

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy and Autodesk products, and integrate relevant insights into the team to promote a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles or product development, focusing on customer onboarding, IT installation, and deployment or similar

  • Experience in creating and managing audience-focused content plans, analyzing audiences, and handling the entire content process, including writing and editing technical content

  • Strong project management experience leading multi-team projects from start to finish, turning strategic plans into clear tasks, simplifying complex projects, and driving progress and improvement

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, and other relevant software

  • Communicate effectively, simplify complex ideas, and collaborate well across various levels and locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical and solution-focused, prioritizing goals and colleagues' needs to achieve the best outcome for customers

  • Understand customer and partner needs and translate them into effective content strategies and solutions

  • Independent approach, proactiveness, and a learning and improvement mindset

  • Experience implementing search engines optimization (SEO) strategies an advantage

  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) an advantage

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with cross-company projects, working globally to create agreement and common goals, and energized by facilitating solutions and achieving consensus

  • Strong customer-focused mindset and ability to advocate for customer needs

  • Skilled at analyzing complex behavior, identifying patterns and trends, and finding optimization opportunities to improve the customer experience
