Position Overview

As a Technical Solutions Executive (TSE), you are a key factor in the success of the Autodesk Construction Cloud portfolio. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will partner with account teams to help our users achieve their goals through our technology. Drawing from your industry experience, you will identify and understand customer needs, develop strategies, demonstrate value, and ultimately deliver outcomes for our customers.

This is a remote role with travel expectations. You will be based in Hong Kong and cover the entire GCR region, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
 

Responsibilities

  • Outcome and Solution-Based Approach: Adopt a customer-centric approach by undertaking deep technical discovery in collaboration with team members to uncover user goals. Use your experience, technical knowledge, and creativity to craft solutions that enable end-users to achieve their objectives.
  • Technical Closure: Collaborate with key customer stakeholders to secure technical closure of proposed solutions within Autodesk Construction Cloud. Manage technical evaluations, define solution architecture, facilitate product demonstrations, and engage third parties. Provide technical validation consulting to ACS sales, applying best practices to resolve business challenges. Document quantifiable pain points identified in pre-implementation scenarios, technical decision criteria, and evaluation metrics using Salesforce and collaborative tools.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build a "trusted advisor" relationship with customers by understanding their business processes, workflows, and technical requirements. Ensure efficient customer handoffs between the pre-sales team and post-sales adoption and deployment teams. Share Autodesk Construction Cloud internal product roadmaps and communicate customer feedback to the ACS product team.
  • Collaboration: Foster trusted working relationships with the ACS sales team and adjacent teams such as Autodesk Worldwide Field Operations (WWS). Collaborate with business resources (e.g., sales management, deployment, adoption, business development, global technical sales, and marketing). Work with ACS product centers of excellence, Customer Success initiatives like Voice of the Customer, and deployment teams to implement proposed solutions. Coordinate with ACS marketing for product launches, webinars, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Leadership: Share best practices, competitive insights, innovations, and expertise across local and global sales organizations, product divisions, and technical solutions teams. Represent Autodesk at trade shows, conferences, and internal events in collaboration with ACS marketing. Provide technical product and integration expertise and share knowledge within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience with SaaS technology and construction project planning/delivery.
  • A technology subject matter expert capable of distilling complex workflows/solutions for diverse AEC audiences.
  • Experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS) integration or AI-related development/integration is a plus.
  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential. Familiarity with Hokkien is advantageous.

This role represents the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position, demonstrating complete knowledge of the company’s products and services
  • Addresses problems of diverse scope, where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to achieve solutions. Networks effectively with senior internal and external personnel in their area of expertise
  • Responsible for selling the company’s products or services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing ones
  • Typically receives minimal instruction on routine tasks and general guidance on new assignments
